Art Beat Istanbul is a major new contemporary art fair launching in September 2011. The inaugural fair, which coincides with the opening of the 12th Istanbul Biennial (17 September – 13 November 2011) aims to be a platform for Istanbul’s vibrant art scene and an essential gathering point for collectors, artists and art professionals from across Turkey, the Middle East, Europe, USA and beyond.
In its first year, Art Beat Istanbul will feature 27 of the most exciting galleries from both Istanbul and abroad. The fair also includes a dedicated project space, where galleries will present installation work, and a prestigious talks and events programme.
